Nibirii sold out for the first time in six editions
60,000 people, five stages, 178 artists and one world built on a lake between Cologne and Aachen. The sixth edition of Nibirii is over, and it is the first one that left no tickets behind.
The sixth edition of Nibirii Festival is closed, and it did something the previous five had never done: it sold out completely. Over the weekend 60,000 people walked into a temporary world built on the shore of the Dürener Badesee, between Cologne and Aachen.
Sold out before the first day
For a festival that grew on a loyal community rather than on a single poster name, that is the milestone that counts. The pre-sale was gone before the first festival day even started, and the team kept it short when it was over: "60,000 hearts, one weekend, one world. Thank you for being Nibirii. We will see you again."
Five stages, closer than ever
The staging has always been the core of Nibirii, and this year the five worlds — Pyramid, Unreal, Hidden, Forrest and Lagoon — were reimagined and moved closer to the crowd. The Pyramid Stage became walkable for the first time, and the sightlines now run straight through the stages onto the lake.
The line-up reflected the same idea: techno, trance, drum & bass and psytrance on the same weekend, with Klangkünstler, VINI VICI, Trancemaster Krause, A.N.I., Marlon Hoffstadt, KUKO and Cloudy among the names.
The numbers behind one weekend
Sixty thousand visitors, five stages, 178 artists and around 1,000 people in the crew. For comparison, the 2025 edition welcomed over 50,000 fans and more than 100 artists.
Nibirii is hosted by Bootshaus Cologne and runs each August at the Dürener Badesee. The sixth edition took place from 28 to 30 August 2026, and like the club it comes from, it sits inside a wider ecosystem that includes the label Bootshaus Music.

The next edition is already announced. If this year is the measure, the tickets will not wait.
